++++++++++++++++++++++++ The Shark Watch - Profile and Online Register for Updates
In this issue, we are pleased to feature one of ConTech's current projects: The Camden Ballpark. ConTech is providing
construction monitoring services on behalf of Sovereign Bank, lender of $11 million for construction of a baseball stadium at the southern foot of the Ben Franklin Bridge in Camden, New Jersey.
Current pictures showing
construction progress of Camden Ballpark, future home of the Camden River Sharks minor league baseball club, can now be viewed on the ConTech web site at URL http://www.contechservices.net/html/ballpark.html
You can also view an archive of construction progress and join a list to be notified when new pictures are added.
"We call it The Shark Watch," said Herbert C. Grant, ConTech president, "and anyone can
join the list to receive automatic updates." Since it's inception in mid-August, The Shark Watch has been updated every other week. Sovereign Bank, along with the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA), provided
financing for the project which is scheduled for completion in April 2001. The Philadelphia Inquirer published a related story on October 30, 2000.
"There's a sense of anticipation that surrounds the ballpark and
we were in a good position to visually track construction progress," said Grant. "This will be baseball in a unique setting, on the waterfront, next to the Ben Franklin Bridge.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++ Corrections to MBA 2000 Membership Directory
ConTech continues it's 10th year as a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association. However,
due to database and printing errors at the MBA, ConTech's listings in the 2000 MBA Membership Directory have some significant errors despite being reprinted and republished in September by MBA.
So for the record, be
advised that ConTech's listing in the "Index by Company" section is accurate. Herb Grant's listing in the "Personnel Alphabetical Listing" is missing. ConTech's location, phone, email, and web site
address are correct in the "Member Listings" on page 249 but the business description and personnel listings are obviously incorrect. The MBA offered a make-good to us for the future due to their error.
All
that being said, ConTech's Herb Grant will be attending the MBA Conference in San Diego, Feb. 4-7, 2001.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++ Using Email to Send - Receive Reports, Data & Images

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++++++++++++ "Solution" of the Month
I don't have anything here yet. Any ideas, just a simply stated
tip or pointer of some sort for your audience? |
